I visited the IDFC First Bank, Kalyani Nagar branch today to close my salary account. I have been associated with this bank for over two years, and my experience has largely been positive. After joining Tech Mahindra, I learned that the company does not have a salary account tie-up with IDFC, which forced me to open an HSBC account. Since then, I faced multiple issues like frequent UPI failures, limited app features, and dependency on net banking for basic tasks. My HR also confirmed that IDFC was not an available option for my department. However, I would still like to appreciate IDFC’s service quality. During my earlier usage, UPI almost never failed, and their customer service has always been efficient and supportive. Even today, the representative handling my account closure was extremely polite, offered me water, and guided me properly. The bank has also waived non-maintenance charges for me 3-4 times in the past, which I truly appreciate. Due to financial constraints, maintaining the required monthly balance became difficult, and I had no option but to close the account. I completely understand and respect the bank’s policies. If my next organization (after four months) has a tie-up with IDFC, I would definitely choose to open my salary account here again. Thank you for your services.

Overall Wonderful Experience

Services from this branch have been very prompt and customer friendly. Specially Mr Onkar Lad and the RM: Mr Pavan Bhatia, appreciate there timely help Operations are smooth and very streamlined. Rarely had to visit the branch any time, everything happens just at a click/call/email.

Excellent service , staff is very cooperative and interest rates are also very attractive. I always prefer IDFC FIRST BANK and recommend all to open a account with this Bank.

Recently I opened salary account in IDFC, I am extremely surprised to experience such super fast service by Sales team (Sadhana and Abhinav) , additionally welcome kit was received in 2 days, that's too quick. Mobile application is delight to use, super smooth and easy to operate. Definitely, idfc bank team doing great work, thank you and hats off!
